Power port keep failing even after replacement.

I have two of these gen 1 Nexus 7 tablets, and both of them have had issue with the power port. I bought a replacement part off ebay and they only seem to last a month or so. Granted our 4 yr old is pretty hard on the plug but I wonder if its a run of bad parts or they are just that fragile. The part was Asus labeled. Anyone have a source for genuine OEM parts or is there an updated part? Hate to retire the tablet just yet.

Same experience here. New port went flaky, fast. Going to try a different vendor though a good bet would be that there's a common supplier out there..
