Poweramp Turns Wifi Off

For some reason whenever I open Poweramp, it shuts off the wifi on my phone. When I exit the app the wifi turns back on. This is a really weird bug, does anyone else have the same issue or know how to solve this problem?

I should also note that the same thing happens when I open Pandora, which is kinda annoying because the mobile data connection at my house is spotty and it won't let me stream over wifi.
