Powerpoint HDMI Droid X

Hey fellow DX lovers,

Im looking to get an HDMI cable to show my PowerPoint to my youth group via a projector. Is it possible? Ive read that only stock gallery and videos can be shown over HDMI. Just want to know before i purchase it from the AndroidCentral Store.

Not to take money away from Phil's kids but check out monoprice.com for cables, I haven't found cables for any cheaper.

You've got a few choices. One is you can convert the PPT to images (should be a simple File --> Save As). Another is to look into RealHDMI which will display everything over HDMI - but you lose the actual screen when it's active so it can be tough to work with.

Also, make sure the projector has an HDMI input. The ones at work all have VGA, but I have an HDMI-to-VGA converter box just in case.
