Just wanted to give credit where credit is due for Samsung not making us re-enter all the credit card info this time around...
Glad they pay attention to improving user experience (usually...)

Yep... All my cards were waiting for me when I signed into the app, and I just needed to reactivate them. Well done, Samsung!

A small price for them to pay since they devalued the rewards program :p

The purpose of the rewards program was to get people started with Samsung Pay. Spinning up the flywheel, as it were. Now that the flywheel is spinning there's no real need for the rewards program.

It also doesn't help that many people abused the rewards program in the past, so Samsung had to revamp the way they track usage.

The rewards program has never been an incentive for me to use Samsung Pay. It's a nice bonus, to be sure, but the fact that it's more versatile than Apple or Google Pay is why I use it.

If only it was as easy on the gear s3. Have to enter all the cards everytime you reset it. Even though they're already on the phone.

Yes. This. Very annoying to need to reset the watch that already had the cards in it. Connect it to a phone that already had the cards in it and STILL have to enter them again and than reauthorize them.

It's the price of security, I suppose. The change over should be more seemless.
