Hey Jerry,

Can you tell me how I can get a definitive list of all apps including system apps installed on my phone? (I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note4.) I ask because it appears that it is possible to get malware pre-installed on a device which will then require a root or firmware flash to get rid of. So, I need to find if I have any of these apks installed.

Beware! Pre-Installed Android Malware Found On 36 High-end Smartphones

The original report Preinstalled Malware Targeting Mobile Users | Check Point Blog doesn't mention which carrier was selling these or where the phones were. The article above does have the list of phones incorrect, but the applicable apps on your device (Note 4) would be com.kandian.hdtogoapp, com.changba, air.fyzb3. I'm going to assume you don't have any of these, because many of the devices on the list are Chinese phones, including Oppo, Vivo, Xiami, etc and these phones aren't generally for sale in the US. The first sentence, "The Check Point Mobile Threat Prevention has recently detected a severe infection in 36 Android devices, belonging to a large telecommunications company and a multinational technology company. "indicates that these devices were all found associated with one carrier.

The information is rather vague as many of the devices listed have multiple variants depending on region.

We should expect statements from their respective manufacturers soon.
