Pre order at verizon?

I have not followed previous phones with preorders like some on the forums. But with how VZW is flying by the seat of their pants on this one, I would assume no. If something comes up by Monday-possibly. After Monday, and the 10th is truly the date, I would sincerely doubt it. Of course for the past month we have been expecting news and all sorts of stuff. So simple answer. Probably not. And you can probably go walk in at open without an issue. Go in at 6, after work or the next day. Then you may have issues. Like I said though - No experience with this except for walking in on my the 6th to pick up the original Droid. Guy said they sold tons that day when I went in at like 4

There will be no need to camp out. There will be plenty of phones in stock.

I dont think that VZW will have a preorder, just by the pure fact that best buy has had one for...24 hours short of 1 month. Yea.....wheres my phone?

I think you guys are under estimating the demand for this phone! Just my opinion and I'm wondering if they are gonna keep the phones to LTE area's only at Launch?

When I go into the store they say they have alot of people asking for the phone. But who really knows

I dont think there will be any need to camp out when its released. Most the general public has no idea about this phone.

They will have pre-orders but maybe only a day or two ahead of time if its on thursday.

The "insiders" have been saying a lot of things. Problem is they aren't producing anything. "Coming soon" is a very relative phrase and is in the eye of the beholder. Yes, my bad attitude is showing.

Usually they ship out for delivery on same day as store release, sometimes a day early.

I was told by a VW phone rep (who is also waiting for TB) that the iphone was available for sale online at 3 am. of the day it was released. Getting up early won't matter if they are plenty of units in stock but if not....?
