still working 2.2 on my shift cuz it was the easiest to root using a one click method so I can tether with my TouchPad...but I keep skipping updates and haven't really used tether much anyway. With the latest update, do I have to do anything prior to excepting the update? I'm coming from webOS and there was always patches, kernals, and themes etc that needed to be removed prior to accepting ota updates or there could be trouble. Is there anything I need to do prior to updating keeping in mind that I am still rocking v2.2? Sometimes in these cases you may have to update to one major update before I can allow the next update...can someone let me know please. Thanks.
P.S. Is it worth it to update my device to the evo 4g or should I continue to hold out for something better to release on Sprint...whenever that may be. I have one sitting here as a paper weight as it has a bad esn number. I'm thinking of rooting it so I can at least use the wireless connection...if that's not a pita.
thanks guys!
edit: do I have a buger or a foul stinch cuz it seems nobody ever attempts to answer my questions...I just looked back at all my posts asking questions and its as if I never wrote anything at all...its confusing and a little disappointing. I guess I'm still used to webOS, I always got responses, even if they were to just tell me it was a dumb question and the answer is on the post directly above. What's the deal?
