Pre-rooting backup question

How do I back up all of my apps, data, settings and customizations before doing the wipe needed for rooting? I know I will use Titanium once I am rooted, but that is a root-only app, so I can't use it before I root. I have no desire to manually reinstall and reconfigure all my apps and my settings, so how do I back all of that up so that I can restore it all after rooting and installing a new ROM?

Is there another non-root app that will do this like Titanium back up?

Check out the wug's toolkit above in the stickies. I believe it does app backups w/o root.

Yup. I posted a link in the other thread; there's always a way to do it through adb I believe.

Got it, thanks guys! This was my primary hold up, not wanting to mess with putting all my stuff back in place. Now, I should be able to get it all back with a simple restore.
