Hi everyone just out of curiosity, what is everyone's preferred way of unlocking their phones? Pin, password, face unlock?

I personally use pin for my unlock method.
Even more so than facial recognition? Is accurate 60 70 percent of the time the rest in law is the default back up lol I was just curious what the running consensus here is for the Nexus 6...

Recently been just using swipe. Although I do occasionally use pin, pattern, or gesture.

I find that its just not a quick as using any of the other methods. Although when flashing a custom ROM, I always make sure the Gapps package I flash includes FaceUnlock. I like to have the option just in case I ever decide to try it out again.

Don't like finger print or facial recognition. Swipe/pin for me.
Again, that seems to be the running theme / motto here. I figured more people would be for facial recognition. It doesn't take any more battery to run right? Doesn't seem like it would...

Work and home are trusted places, otherwise my PIN.
I was using a Tasker profile to unlock my phone at home when it as connected to Wi-Fi, but I was getting BSODs with that method.

None of the above. I just swipe to unlock. Not worried about anyone getting into my phone, as it's always in my hand or in a holster on my belt.

Interestingly enough, I figured everyone here would be going nuts about the facial recognition etc .. Not so much actually....

I use pattern on my Note 4 and pin on my 6 Plus.

Now that's something creative. I'm just not a fan of the pattern lock myself unfortunately... Tried to soo many times like it, but still didn't.

I like it because it quick yet adds some amount of security.

That's true. I guess a. I couldn't find a creative or fun enough pattern for myself, and b. I find the pin lock to be more secure...

When I do lock my phone its using the PIN lock .When lock is not needed I select None
I don't lock my phone when its within reach.
But then again I don't leave it lying around out of my sight without it being locked :)

Ha-ha yup yupi do also agree with that... Usually my phone is on my holster or by my side...

PIN only. Tried face for a day and hated it. I felt like I'd rather be spending that 1 second entering numbers than staring blankly at my screen waiting for it to unlock.

Eh that's very true. It's also a bit faster as well.
