Preorder came home today... preopened...

The box seal were broken and it looks like someone opened it. Is this common? I preordered this from AT&T and I'm an existing customer.

They open it and put the sim card in. You did notice the card with the hole where the sim goes?

Also, don't turn it on until you call them to activate. There is a paper in there with instructions, but it is outside the box and who the hell reads all that stuff!

No problem.

I don't understand why, if they are going to open the box, don't they put the quick start guide in the box? I wonder how many people just open the box turn on the phone and panic because it doesn't work?

I pre-ordered mine and had it sent to Att-when she brought out the box I kind of thought that the box had been opened--the tape looked a little dodgy-but I'm not sure. I don't remember her putting in the sim card, but I saw where the sim card had been punched out. I think that since I had an Att rep I didn't look too closely at everything. I know that there was a quickstart guide, headphones, and a charger. Whatever, everything was flawless.
