I guess the girl i talked to last night didn't know about the preorder program. I just preordered mine (50.00) down and a seperate gift card for the balance.

All I need now is for Thursday to get here.

Who else has completed pre order?

I'm not going to. I don't support Best Buy and will just buy it cheaper at Costco and without the activation fee.

I won't be pre-ordering, but that's mostly because I'm still undecided on whether or not I'm going to splurge for WiFi only or 3G + WiFi.

I pre-ordered at mobile, they were numbering the pre-order sheets. I was #2 in line. By the time I left there were 4 pre-orders already. I was in line at opening.

They kept the sheet. It had my name, phone number, and what accessories I wanted with the Xoom. All They gave me was a receipt and a $50 gift card.

The salesman made 2 copies so I could have one as well. I get a 20% discount on all accessories thru Verizon wireless so I will get them there and I get free shipping.

First person to pre order at my local best buy. Salesman said they were only getting 5 on Thursday and I would be guaranteed to get one. He also said I would be picking it up from the computer section. If you haven't pre ordered I would strongly recommend it since it looks like supplies will be limited.

Costco has it for 699? Why haven't I heard this? I ordered from best buy because I have a lot of gift cards there plus I get best buy reward points.

I went back to get a gift card to cover the tax and the sales rep in mobile told me no one else had pre-ordered yet. I also looked at my preorder sheet and it is numbered with a #1.

Lancaster, Ohio is still a fairly small town, I don't see a lot of people buying the Xoom.

I just got back from my preorder session, I was number 2 with 3 more happening at the same time. Got to preorder the dock and the portfolio case as well. Preorder page with a circled #2 receipt and gift card.
I guess mobile is handling preorders but the PC department will be handling the sales because it's over a 7" screen.

Oh and 2 people walked in and tried to get the wifi only one and could not preorder, just FYI.

Now for the waiting game.
