Prevent shortcut auto creation?

Ok, is there any way to keep my Transformer from automagically creating a shortcut when I install a new app from the market? I don't want any shortcuts created unlessI do it myself. I'm just funny that way

Check in the Settings of the Market, I believe there is a option to stop it from creating the shortcuts/widgets.

I think its on by default. Just one of those ways of Google making some decisions for us, good or bad...

Wasn't when I first loaded the latest update (to get rid of the last trace of rooting that was on this tablet when I bought it). Must have been the latest market update that did it.
