Prevent software updates

Hello I have a Galaxy Note 4 and I was on Kit Kat but my phone automatically upgraded to Lollipop without my consent so is there any way to prevent that from happening again? I'm interested in selling my Galaxy Note 4 once I can fix that issue.

Can you go to Settings>About Phone>Software Update>Automatic Software Update​ and uncheck it?

Hi. You can't revert back to Kit Kat. I have a Gal 4 and they did the same with my phone. Loved Kit Kat. I now have the crappy Lollipop and I'm stuck with it.

Actually you can. I did it before but the only issue is preventing the phone from updating to Lollipop since AT&T doesn't give an option to not update.
