Galaxy Note II price reduced to $200 on Verizon Wireless website. This definitely makes the decision easier. I got the phone on Sunday and haven't put it down yet.

I had to transfer an upgrade from one line to the another and wasn't sure if Best Buy would let me do that. But yea I guess I didn't think of getting it cheaper elsewhere lol

It's $150 on Amazon. So, go to Best Buy for their price match policy.

They don't price match contract phones anymore. You can try and may get lucky at a store, but official policy doesn't allow it.

Also, $150 is for upgrade. Be line of service is $80

yeah i dont think that works at BB i think they penalize you if your doing the swap to keep your unlimited data if you dont leave the note on the line you upgraded

No, best buy does not have that policy. A number of other third party do however

I think it depends on the store, i was recently told i could price match amazons contract price as long as the item was in stock

Since? Because, that is how I got my Note 2 in Feb.

Beginning of march when they began their new price matching policy to stop show rooming

That is correct. Official best buy policy didn't allow it anymore since they started their new policy ending show rooming , but it is up to the store as always.
