Does anyone have an idea of the price with contract for the Desire, for any carrier?
Bluegrass Cellular announced on their Facebook page that the Desire is coming in August, and that is probably my best bet for an Android phone. I assumed that the phone would be $200 with a two year agreement... However, I am hesitant to drop that cash for what is essentially nearly year-old technology.
I figure this phone is probably going to be my only real option, though, because I live in a rural area where Verizon doesn't have coverage. T-Mobile and Sprint are options, but not very good options, since I would have to pay the same data prices as users who have access to 3G. I have AT&T now, and I don't think they have any decent Android phones coming, maybe the Galaxy S, but without free nights and weekends I can't really consider re-signing with AT&T (I use more than 5,000 night and weekend minutes per month).
I'm just trying to find the best option before I decide to pull the trigger on a phone.
