At one point I could send my docs to printers. Now I get messages that they are unavailable or other other errors.

What application are you using to open or view the PDF? In other words, from what application are you selecting the Print command?

I sometimes have problems with my printer staying connected to the network, so I'd suggest double checking that yours is as well. Especially if you've had it unplugged.

My wireless printer does not turn back on automatically if there is a power outage. I have to turn it on again manually.

Same here. I don't use mine often, so it usually stays turned off. If I leave it plugged in, it retains the Wi-Fi login info. If it loses power or I unplug it, then I have to re-enter the Wi-Fi password.
