Anyone printing from there thrive?

Are you using the printers share that came on the thrive?

Yep. Bought the full version. Works great with my two wireless HP printers. Haven't tried it over USB.
i was hoping to not have to buy anything and it would work with finding remote printer, hooked to my PC. But so far no luck. It will find printers, but not mine. Lol

Printershare doesn't find my HP wireless printer . . . :(

I seem to recall that the printershare requires certain printers though.

If you have a wireless printer check Market for printing packages HP, Brother, Epson, Samsung all have free packages to print to some of their wireless printers. I have found the Brother package has good support for my Brother MFC-7840 for printing and scanning.

my printers are not wireless they are hooked to desktop PC with cable.

I can't remember if it was with my Thrive or EVO 3D, but I was able to print to my C2025dn which is networked to a wireless router.

I believe to print wirelessly from your Thrive that you must ad hoc your Thrive to a wireless printer. You can obtain a wireless adapter for a puter but a printer must be purchased wireless.

is there a setting for the prints are, that I haven't seen?

What is ad hoc? Sorry, probably dumb question, :-)

I'm trying to find Lexmark printer when I scan while in print share, it finds a long list of
them and two with the same numbers as mine, can't figure out why it can't find mine.

This is a GOOD question. :) Ad hoc is a wireless connection betwixt two digital devices, such as, a computer and a printer or a Thrive and a printer. In other words, it's a limited network including only two devices. For example, all three of my puters are connected to my wireless printer----but none of my puters are connected to each other; each puter is in an ad hoc network with the same printer.

All of my puters, as well as my iPAQ and Archos pmp, are connected to each other in my studio network (but that is not ad hoc).

Does this help? :)

My desktop PC, is connected to 2 printers via cable, set to share. Our two laptops are also sharing the printers, although not by cable, We just told laptops to look for the printers.
I emailed Printershare, they said to download free software to PC, then share. Suppose to then, have thrive scan and it should find printer. I haven't done that yet.
Its not like I can't print, at all, I can always use pc, but just wanted to see if I could from thrive.
Thanks for everyone's reply.

So, nonie, your printers are wireless! I beg your pardon; when you said your desktop is connected via cable to printer, I wrongly assumed your printer isn't wireless.

Second, several items of info have come to me (via thriveforums.org on the Toshiba site) that will prevent my using PrinterShare. If you are interested, the url is------
