problem after updating my motorola xoom to ics

hey guys

I updated my motorola xoom to the new ics yesterday. Now for someone reason my xoom will not start up. It just turns on the motorola logo then goes to the graphics screen that shows up before you can unlock it but never goes to the unlock screen. it just stays on the graphics. I've tried the power and volume up button but it just does the same thing. Any word of advice will do.

Same problem on my Razr. Very frustrating. Verizon says I need to get a new phone.
