All of the Sprint phones at my home will not connect to our home wifi all of a sudden. (have always been able to in the past, yes) My lap top connects just fine, another PC, and my husbands Ipod all can connect to the wifi without a problem. But, my son's Pre, my husbands Blackberry, and my EVO all cannot connect to the wifi. My EVO goes through the motions, Connecting, Obtaining IP address but never really connects. My EVO is still a virgin (unrooted) and has the correct wifi password, I've also restarted it a few times. But, all our phones are doing this which makes me think is this a Sprint problem? But, that doesn't really make sense, does it?

This is just such a strange problem, anyone able to help?

Have you tried cycling your modem and router?

Unplug both and let them sit for a couple of minutes. Then plug in your modem and let it rest, maybe 3 minutes or so. Once your modem resets plug your router back in and let it reset.

Unless all three of your phones had updates at the same time, which I know the Pre, eVo and blackberry haven't (I have a Pre & eVo, wife has a blackberry & Shift) it would have to be something with your home wifi.

Do you know if your router had an update lately?

How many devices can your router handle at once? Some of them can only handle 3-4 devices at a time, idk how many laptop's/iTouches or whatever else you have connected though, just a thought.

Thanks Southphilly, it worked. I should have know to try that 1st since that has happened in the past. But, last time nothing worked, I thought since it was just the phones it might be some weird Sprint problem. But, I still should have tried that 1st.

Igotsanevo4g, I'm not sure now, but I thought when we bought the thing just a years ago it could handle this household. We probably need to update the modem at least, but I'm trying to stretch it out because of AT&T's DSL is going to have a data cap. They haven't said anything in my area yet, but I don't want to be locked in if they do this to us. 3 kids and 2 adults in this house we do really use the heck out of our wifi. I would be in heaven if a Starbucks would move in close enough to our house.

Thanks everyone, sorry for the knee jerk reaction.
