Problem in battery drain Note 3

hi ,,

i have problem in my phone note 3 3g not LTE

i charge it fully then it starts to discharge quiiiiiickly sooo much , within 3 hours it goes from 100% to 20% without any usage just standby mode with recently formated and 4.3 android software ,

important note : it continues to discharge quickly even i shut down my phone but if i disconnect the battery the battery stay the same ,,, problem in battery or maybe software ?????

You should download an app such as wakelock detector or something similar to see what the problem is.

Screen shots and also patience would be helpful if you need some help as well....

You can go to Settings and then Battery. Battery will show you which apps or OS components are using the battery. As kj11 noted, a wake lock detector can also help if the Battery option does not provide the clues.

Take it to Verizon and get a new phone! That is 1000000% unacceptable. That has to be faulty hardware if you are not doing anything and it is draining that fast.

Even i have the same probelm the batter is getting drained so fast with out using it. Is this problem with my particular phone????

Never seen a device drain to that extent while it's completely off - something doesn't sound quite right there.
