problem keeping phone charged

I just got the nexus s for at&t but I am having a hard time keeping it charged. I'm talking like 2 hrs of charge time. I have everything that i can be turned down to a minium. and I listen to a lot of podcast and I can only get through 2hrs of podcast and my phone drops to 25%. So my question is could my phone be draining the battery more than usual? :'(

Have you unlocked/rooted the phone? If so you can calibrate your battery by wiping the battery stats in ClockworkMod Recovery. I just calibrated my phone a few days ago and got over 24 hours on one charge (I listen to a lot of podcasts as well).

You may also want to go to menu button>Settings>About phone>Battery use, and see if there is any particular app sucking battery life abnormally fast (and uninstall it if there is).
