Hello,

Last october I flashed Resurrection Remix ROM on my HOX (helped by Jeff, another AndroidCentral member).
The phone calls were ok (make/receive), but after sometime they become a problem.
Now a days it is a huge problem !
Sometimes I can´t hear the person on the phone call. Sometimes the person can´t hear me.
Everytime I make a phone call, I have to clean up memory and close all apps.
Its look like a software/app problem that impact on memory.
I´m using a local carrier "Oi" that operates 4G (and 3G also), but HOX just operates 3G.
Is there anythinkg I can do in order to sove the problem ?
I would like to avoid move back to stock ROM once RR has lot os good features.

Thanks in advance. !

Have you tried something as simple as wiping cache in recovery? How about "factory resetting" that rom?

Thank you Wizzrah for you answer.

I wiped cache on Settings/Apps/.
There are 3 apps related (I guess) which are the following with their sizes: Phone (660kb), Phone (1,73Mb) and Phone/Messaging Storage (1.24Mb). All of them were wiped cache.
No changes. Problem still here.

When you say Factory Reset, you mean flash Stock ROM again ? If so, the answer is no. I´m still with R ROM and go back to Stock ROM would be the last option.

I´m sure the issue is related to software/memory, but have no idea how to fix it.

If you have any other tip, please let me know.

By wiping cache, I mean by turning off the phone and booting into recovery mode, vol-down+power. Also, by factory reset, I do not mean re-flashing the stock rom, but simply going to the settings on your ROM and factory resetting from there. Another option you can try is wiping the ROM in recovery and re-flashing that custom ROM.

Ok.

TRWP shows Dalvik/ART, System, Cache, Data and Internal Storage as options to Wipe. Which one do I have to choose that can impact on Phone calls and/or memory space ?

Tks.

Hello everybody,

As you can see...my problem is still here.
Wiping Dalvik/ART, System, Cache, Data, problem desapear, but just few calls or apps used then it comes back.
I can´t stay each day wiping or reinstaling RR.
Move to the Original ROM is not a good alternative due to some app doesn´t run properly.
I would like some help in order to find the RR problem. Maybe some configuration related to the RAM (memory).
Tks in advance.

Hi Renzo,

Unfortunatelly not.
I´m looking for another ROM option, once I have no idea which is the problem...
If you have better lucky, please let me know.

Hello !

I´m here again, still with the same problem.
It is very frustrating to have a mobile but with no chance to use it !
I´m still bet on Google apps causing the problem, but don´know how to fix it.
Is there anybody here with some idea or tip/solution ?
Please let me know...

Tks !

This is a problem in the CM, so every CM based ROM may have this issue especially on kitkat. Had this poblem myself, got it solved by moving so AOSP based ROM. This is the one I use now https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/aospa-paranoidandroid-4-4-beta1-t2020336
