Hi

I packed my 64 GB SD card full with music. The only problem now is that all album covers are showing up in my stock gallery (300+ pics)! I've searched everyhere, but haven't found any good solutions yet. I tried to rename the music folder into ".nomedia" (read it somewhere) but it hasn't worked either. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue. Also when I go into my gallery it takes forever to load the pictures what music player are you using?

Wondering if it's because you have a cover pic in you're music folder. You could embed the artwork in the mp3 tags. that should keep them out of your gallery I think. Or if they're also embedded than just delete the gallery pics. Or you could use a program like keepsafe or vaulty to hide them.

yeah, that's definitely because the program you used to tag your albums didn't embed them into the MP3 files, it just created the album art picture and thumbnail (probably) into the album folder. Your phone scans the memory for image files; if you have album covers saved in there as JPEGs, then that's why they're showing up in your gallery. Not your phone's fault, but the way your music files were tagged. You could either re-tag them or select all the album cover images in the gallery and select the "Hide" option.
