Problem with amazon apps for tablet

For Christmas I received a Cruz tablet with android 2.2.1 iOS. I have not messed around with it too much buit I have been trying to install apps from amazon and it has been hit and miss. Here is what I have downloaded and installed: choice of the vampire, cribbage pro, farkle free. I have downloaded but for some reason cannot install: netflix, angry birds, puss n boots fruit ninja. I have had this problem with other apps also. When I go to install them, it tries then it says its not installed. Is there something I can do?
