I have a Droid 2 phone running Android 2.2. I am using WiFi only and do not have the phone connected through any carrier (even though the phone is a Verizon phone).
The issue I have is there is a Flash website I have running on my local LAN and I can access it securely via port 443 (SSL connection with self-signed certificate) when I am connected to the Internet. However, when my connection to the Internet is down, The chrome lite browser cannot complete the https request. I put a packet sniffer on to see what was going on and found out that the Android system is attempting to connect to android.clients.google.com and cannot reach that site because I am disconnected from the Internet.
Any suggestions to getting this to work when disconnected from the Internet?
Chuck
