hey all,

i have been running cwm3(i think 3.0.0.6 or something) and ACS frozen rom 1.1 for about a month now and its been great. last night i was just mucking around and i launched rom manager(4.2.x the latest version) and i accidentally clicked "flash clockworkmod recovery" and i'm not sure which option i picked but i think i messed up my CWM.

not sure what to do, i tried to install cwm 3 again but it keeps failing. i ended up successfully flashing my phone with cwm3 and i put acs frozen rom 1.1 back on.

when i goto rom manager, it says my current recovery is "cwm 2.5.1.2". when i actually boot into CWM using the 3finger salute, i get the orange screen and it says cwm 3.0.0.6.

any1 know if this is safe? or how to fix this?

the only update.zip i found on my sdcard was "recovery-update.zip" located in /sdcard/clockworkmod/

can a simple rename suffice? or should i just delete it?

can i delete anything else in "/sdcard/clockworkmod/" ? the ".settings" file had some references to cwm2.5.1.2

i need help how do i install a rom using cwm3. PLEASE HELP IM TRYING TO INSTALL A RON ANY ROM ON MY LG OPTIMUS V WICH IS STUCK IN RECOVERY PM ME PLZ

You will have to post in the LG Optimus section. This is the Samsung Epic 4g section. I'm sure someone there will be more than happy to help you out.
