Problem with editing mp3 tags - Samsung Galaxy S5

I've been having a problem with the mp3 tags for a while now. It may seem kind of trivial but I'm very anal when it comes to things like this. A couple artist names won't allow me remove certain words or punctuation from them. For example, My phone recognises the artist as "The Arctic Monkeys", and when I go to edit it to just "Arctic Monkeys" it stays the same. Another example is that my phone has an artist saved as "Father John Misty." but I can't remove the period, similar to the "the" in the first example. I've tried plenty of tag editor apps as well as deleting everything and redownloading it. No luck so far. I've seen a few posts similar to this but with no solution yet. If anyone has fixed this problem I'd be incredibly appreciative to hear!

I use MusicBee, a desktop software, for mp3 tag editing. It is quite powerful, but not sure if it will work for you.
