Problem with email on tab s.

I have my yahoo email set up on my tablet and my Galaxy 5 phone. The email filters and spam rules work perfectly on my phone, but not on my tablet. I am constantly getting VERY unwelcome emails. When I try to copy and paste the email addresses, I have to go into the process of making the senders contacts. I THEN have exit email and go to the desktop settings in order to access the spam addresses. VERY awkward. And even after going through that laborious process, I am still getting emails from tat address. Why is this happening on the tab and not the phone and what can be done to fix it?
