I have a stock Aria from AT&T updated to 2.2.2. I have a somewhat irritating problem that I don't know how to solve. Google News stopped updating a couple of days ago, so I can't refresh my news feed on the phone. Also, when I hit the search icon to bring up Google Search, my browser opens (Opera) but instead of returning the search results, I get the message "Connection closed by remote server".
My Google Calendar still syncs and I can connect to the internet by opening Opera. In fact, I can do Google searches in Opera. My version of Opera is 11.00 in case that helps.
I did not make any changes to the phone prior to these problem showing up. I'm guessing that they are somehow related. I've power cycled the phone several times plus pulled the battery.
I'd appreciate any help.
