Problem with "Hero of Sparta"

A few days ago, Gameloft was giving away "Hero of Sparta" for the Epic. I downloaded it and played it for about an hour. I love it! Great game! I shut it down (after saving it) and restarted later just to find out I had to start at the beginning. It didn't save any data! I tried a few more times and the same thing kept happening. I've also noticed it keeps trying to restart which totally freezes my phone. I'll get the pop-up that "Hero of Sparta" unexpectedly shut down. It happens pretty often...seemingly randomly...and it's extremely annoying. I can't hang up on a phone call unless I turn the screen off, turn it back on, pull down the drop-down menu, click the phone call, then click "end".
Is anyone else having this problem?
I'm running stock...no mods...no rooting.

Perhaps you want to contact the developer tell them your phone model and what is happening .

I contacted the dev and they are working on a fix (and will be posting an updated version). In the meantime, I uninstalled.

yeah i kept getting that "unexpected shutdown" error so i just uninstalled and deleted the game.

I had played the game on iOS and found it fun, so I downloaded it again on my Epic and found the controls to be unresponsive and the game generally laggy... which shouldn't be happening on the hardware the Epic is packing. Uninstalled.

That is not a hardware limitation its most likely they coded it for a couple phones and as people report incompatibility with their phones they will modify the game to work with broader set of phones

I had the same issue with this game. I also had the same issue with their game Let's Golf!

FYI, I had reported this back in December as well, and this week Gameloft finally got back to me with a new download link. The previous, crash-prone version I had was version 3.2.3 but the new build 3.3.2 appears to be much better behaved.
