I'm having issues with adjusting volume on bluetooth speakers from my Pixel 9 Pro XL. My volume button is set to control media. A few days ago, I connected to one of my bluetooth speakers and when the music connected it was at full volume. Reducing the volume on my phone using the volume button did nothing to lower the volume until it reached silent, at which point the music through the speaker stopped. Then when I start to increase the volume using my phone, it immediately goes to full volume as soon as the slider rises above silent. The only way I'm now able to reduce the volume on my bluetooth speakers is by using the volume buttons on the speakers themselves. This is happening to all my bluetooth devices. I've tried restarting my phone but the issue persists. I'm on the most recent android beta software but have been using it for a week or two without issue until a few days ago. Please let me know if you have any ideas about what could be causing this problem. Thanks very much.

Update - it's now working but I'm not sure why. The only change I made was updating Google Play System, although I'm not sure I really had an update. I checked and it said I had an update so I went through the process but it still says I'm on the October 1, 2024 Google Play System version. In any case, I'm now mysteriously able to control volume on bluetooth devices using my phone again.
