Problem with Note 10.1 2014

The battery on my note died so I placed it to charge overnight however the device was still not charged in the morning (The charging indicator was displayed). I went to the reset menu and hit the reboot now option the android logo showed up and it started to reboot, in the middle of the reboot the screen when completely blank. I tried accessing the reset menu again but to no avail. The device is still plugged in charging however the charging indicators are no longer being displayed. Does anyone have suggestions as to what happened and how to rectify this.

I plugged in the charger again and now the screen is flashing. Does anybody have idea as to what is worng?

If you are within your return period, take it back. IMO, any hicups within the return period should be returned for another unit.

If you do not care about losing data then select 'wipe data/factory reset' Usually it should boot up as a fresh device after that.
