Problem with Titanium Backup?

So I've tried to find evidence of this problem and/or a solution on the forums with no luck...

I am trying to use Titanium Backup to backup and restore applications on my Epic, rooted stock EC05. The problem is when I start Titanium Backup, it says "Number of app data elements: 0". I've verified all the filters are clear and it should be showing all the apps installed on the Epic and all the apps I have sitting in the TitaniumBackup directory on my SD card.

I originally ran into the problem when I flashed to gingerbread to try it. Once that was flashed, I tried to restore a few apps and that's when the problem first arose. At first, I didn't care that it didn't work, figured it may be an incompatibility with Titanium Backup and Gingerbread.

When I started having other problems with gingerbread, I used Odin to do a complete wipe/restore to Froyo, EC05 and then did OneClickRoot to root and put CWM 3.0.2.5 back on. I figured my Titanium Backup problems would have gone away. Turns out the problem remained. I then tried re-doing the whole Odin/CWM process AGAIN... same problem...

I even tried using different SD cards, no changes.

Its not the absolute end of the world but I would really really like it if Titanium Backup worked again...

Anyone have any ideas?

Just wondering you are excepting the root access rights when TB first boots up? Check you Superuser app and make sure TB has been given root rights.

I did accept the Root request when starting Titanium Backup. I also tried the instructions on the TB website's wiki to download and manually install busybox. That didn't do it either.

I was able to resolve it though. I looked through the TitaniumBackup directory on my sd card and saw some unusual files sitting in the directory (more unusual then the files TB makes). Instead of manually clearing some of those files, I simply renamed the entire directory and TB made a new directory. Now all is well
