Problems after internal reset rom menu

I rooted my optimus s months ago and I have had no issue with it. I ran a rom but not sure what it was called and was trying to unroot my phone. Phone cam back on an seemed to work fine and accomplish my goal except it still showed super user in the menu. So I decided to reset it throught the user command inside the phone to see if superuser would go away. After the phone shut down then rebooted it would only go to the LG screen and then go blank. I have no way to see my screen and my computer will not and has never been able to connect to my phone till I go into the setting and uncheck the setting that most people say needs checked to connect. So my question is how do I fix this? I can't run anything on it when I can't see the screen to uncheck the setting to be able to connect to pc and I can't see the screen to run any commands from phone.

can you access recovery?

in the rooting, roms, hacks area, in the stickies there are 2 warnings 1) no rom manager (not your issue), and 2) http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...vacy-after-custom-recovery-brick-warning.html which i think is your problem or you flashed V9 and you have a newer lcd screen

Which unroot method did you do? That may answer what recovery you have. Try booting up while holding menu volume down and power, does that still show a black lighted screen?

Menu volume down and power does not make a difference, still backlight screen.

Then it sounds like you need to restore thru emergency mode, which I have zero knowledge with. Hopefully someone with that experience will check in soon to help you.

I believe this is the method you need to recover your phone. It hasn't been updated in a while but should work. Hope this helps

Try Home + Vol Down + Power, let up when you see LG disappear to get into recovery on this device.
