Problems changing from one phone to another!

Hi I've just broken the screen on my Honor 9 Lite and have just got a P20 (ex display) off ebay. Both phones were unlocked when purchased (I use GiffGaff). My old Sim card fits in the new phone and it powers-up ok . The initial setting up goes fine but then it asks me to use phone clone. At that point I give up as I can swith on my old phone because the card is out!!

Any help will be most welcome....I've now gone back to the old phone!

So... what's your problem?

Either use this "phone clone" feature or don't... I'm not really familiar with Honor and Huawei, but you shouldn't need a SIM in either.

Also, this is in the wrong forum... But I'm sure a mod will be along to move it to the P20 forum for more specific indifference lol.

Welcome to Android Central! You're saying the old phone won't turn on without a SIM? That's pretty unusual -- I've always been able to power on a phone without a SIM card.
