Hi all,

Been struggling to find an answer to this, so hopefully you can all help. Here's kinda the run down:

Car: Mazda 3 2016 GS (Nav system with SD Card slot - used for the nav)

Phone: LG G3, running most updated software, extended 32GB SD card

Problem:
This is troubling. When I connect my phone via USB, it takes forever to load. I am not able to access my phone's contacts, messages, etc. In fact, it loads up the weirdest things - whatsapp voice notes, snapchat files, hidden files that can't be viewed amongst other things. It does not load up my music. This one is one I'm a bit worried about.

A second problem. When I connect my phone via Bluetooth, everything is okay... however, the system is unable to view the content of my music. It can't see the folders, playlists, etc. So a message pops up saying that. Is there something I can do on my phone to avoid this? Real pain not being able to navigate my music.

I do have a ton of music on my phone. I recently deleted a ton of photos and am thinking of shortening my music... but this was a big feature on the car that I really wanted to play around with... so this sucks. Your help is much appreciated gang... thank you!

I have a very similar issue with my 2014 Mazda 3. I can pair the phone to the car. I can skip forward or backwards but I can't view the contents. I get the message "unable to view the contents of the connected device".

I was able to try a Samsung Galaxy S6 in my car and it worked while using the Samsung Music App but not the stock music app.

I would like a solution to this issue as well. I was going to look at getting the LG G5 but I might have to switch to Samsung to get this feature.
