Problems receiving mms messages

While I'm on the phone..specifically picture messages. Is there a way to correct this problem?

Not sure if there is a fix to that I have had that same issue when I had a Samsung Galaxy s4.

What carrier do you have? I had a note 4 on AT&T and I could send and receive while on a call, but I just switched to Verizon and now i can't do either.

I had sprint when I had the s4 and had the same issue. I now have Verizon and have the same issue with my iPhone 6 Plus. Maybe it's a feature that Verizon doesn't have and can only do it on certain carriers

Neither sprint nor Verizon supports data with talking. Its either one or the other. I have sprint and never once was able to send any mms or search the Web silke on a call. Sucks.

It's a network thing. Once they get VoLTE, then it will all be data, and hence no issue. The issue Verzion has is a VoLTE call will drop if you loose LTE (AT&T and T-Mobile, don't have that issue, again a network thing). Sprint is not doing much with VoLTE, as their LTE footprint is way too small with the handoff issues.

I assume that VoLTE will only be available in large market cities. That may or may not be good for me.

What is VoLTE? I only get lte or 3G on my phone with verizon

VoLTE uses data for voice calls vs the CDMA network. Calls sound like old school landline phones. Unfortunately Verizon has no decent fallback when you leave a 4g area hence the dropped calls. Which is why I dropped them...
