Problems tethering mytouch 3g wirelessly and via usb to Sony Internet Tv

Hello,

I am trying to tether my mytouch 3g wirelessly (or via usb) to the Sony Internet TV set with Google. The television is not recognizing my wireless network. Tethering works fine with my computer. Can anyone help?

The USB Tether uses a Ethernet over USB driver standard that is easily used by a laptop, and the wifi tether should work fine, have you tried lowering the security of the wifi tether?(Encryption off, no password/key)
