Problems using Android Market website and its mail account, help?

Hi, I'm HTC flyer user and got this tablet from my dad quite a while ago.

Recently, I want to install some android apps from the Android Market website, since I couldn't find it somehow on my Android Market app on my tablet.

I tried to sign in on the website using one of the gmail account that I have installed on my tablet, which is my personal mail, while the other one is my dad's account.

Then when I want to install apps from the website to my account, I found that my tablet isn't detected yet, I though that if I'm using one of the gmail account installed then I would be able to use the website too.

But then one of my friend told me that it has something to do with the first gmail account installed on the tablet, which in this case, is my dad's.

After that, when I was about to 'Remove Account' my dad's gmail account it says that some apps required the email and I had to do factory resets to remove it.

My questions are ..
What should I do to connect my mail account on tablet to the website so I can install apps from the website?
If the problem is the first gmail account installed, can I change it into my account? (and not my dad, because I had no idea how to ask him, since he live apart from me)

No, you have a gmail account, but it was added without signing into a Google account which is different. Add a Google account, and all will work fine.
