New Droid DNA owner here, converting from iphone...literally just got it an hour ago. Haven't downloaded any additional apps or such, just trying to set up my phone basics - most importantly my email.
I had to manually set up my email accounts - at first I wasn't sure if they were correctly set up because the connection would often time out/be unable to connect even though I am in a location with full service bars and be unable to verify my credentials - the exact message I get is "cannot connect to the mail server to verify your account information. Your server is not responding". It gave me the option to keep going though, and I am (pretty?) sure I got my emails set up because I can send emails from my phone perfectly fine [checked from the computer if i received the emails i sent from the phone]. Problem is, I can't receive a single email on my phone. My inbox is totally empty and I keep getting a "connection timeout" alert when I try to sync my inbox.
What is the fix for this?
EDIT: unlinked and relinked both email accounts. Got one of them to work, but the other one still isn't working
