Hi all,

I am having some issues with my Nexus 4 battery. Usually when it hits around 50% it suddenly drops to around 8%. Check out the screenshot:Screenshot_2014-01-22-09-13-39.png

I have no idea what is happening. I have reset the phone around 3 times, which did not help. I also tried letting it die totally and then recharging it to 100%. Any idea what to do to fix this?

It looks like that there has been a problem with your battery, I think you need to replace your battery !!

Also if you have a warranty they will replace the battery but make sure the phone isnt rooted or the bootloader is unlocked. You can use the Nexus 4 Toolkit to restore the phone if you have done anything fancy to the phone.

Just for note if you do want to replace the battery, be very careful when taking the screws out and you use the right ones
