T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Problems with the Galaxy S8

Don't get me wrong this is a great phone but I'm noticing some issues lately. These may be a bit trivial but they're annoying. Hoping someone here can help.

Within the last month or so Google Allo notifications have become a mess. Everything from notification sounds and vibration getting cut short to not getting notifications at all. This is the only app to have this problem. I did a factory reset and the issue persists.

Also, the latest update of youtube has messed up my crop-to-fit fullscreen mode. The video will stretch up but not out to the sides creating a stretched tall video.

Is anyone else experiencing things like this lately? Any help is appreciated.

Have u tried a hard reset

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, did a (hard) factory reset, a soft (wipe cache partition) reset, and booted into safe mode to see if things were any different. Nothing changed the problems.

For the moment I have the Factory version of youtube on here that came with my phone and the crop to fit works with that version for whatever reason. So I kind of fixed it... but I can't update youtube.

I've started experiencing the same issue with Allo. My current work around is to have the repeat notification setting turned on. Please let me know if you find an actual solution.

I hadn't thought of that. I'm going to turn that on. I'm still looking for fixes. If I find anything I'll report back here. Thanks!
