Problems with the HTC One M8

I have no problem with the volume buttons but I have several problems with my s5 the major is the port cover along with the speaker. Battery life is about the same but TouchWiz is slower. S5 has a slightly better display but is very cheap filling. M8 can use Pandora for 1.5 hours at gym and use only 10% then last from 9am to 6pm with hea

I have the same thing with at&t. First one overheating. Sencnd one loose valume rocker. Third one I have the top middle above the screen is peeling off. I am now waiting for the forth one. Hopefully will be the right one for me. I am actually loving the phone and don't want to change it at all

I made an account just to reply to this, I honestly though I was the only one who had this issue. I'm on my fourth HTC One M8 now and this one has multiple dead pixels. The retailed that sold it me just keeps offering replacement M8s they all seem to have bad pixels..

I feel your pain.

Whatever happened to giving the device a thorough inspection before leaving the store? I spend at least 15 minutes with the device while the rep does his thing.
Last year while inspecting a newly purchased M7, I noticed that the in-call audio was too low, even at max volume. Immediately I turned to the rep and we exchanged it. I gave the new one a thorough once over and went home.
If you're short on time, especially if you're OCD, then you should do the responsible thing and come back to the store when you have some time.
Extra time spent inspecting your device in store will save you aggravation and uneccessary trips to the store.
