Problems with update on edge

I download the update but when I attempt to install it I get a message saying "update" failed. Any way to fix this?

If by you just got it, you mean that you just got it and immediately you had the update notification, not too much settings and stuff you may lose, I'd definitely do a Wipe Cache partition and Wipe data/Factory reset, both in Recovery Mode and then set your stuff again and see if you can install the update. Then after the update, I'll always advice to go back to Recovery Mode and do just the Wipe cache Partition.
