FYI...For those interested and anxiously waiting for the ProClip for the EVO like I am, I just got a reply today from their customer service...

"This Holder is expected to be in stock within the next four weeks and will be posted on the web soon..."

Finally!

You'd think with HTC's slow asses not having one at launch that third parties would be all over this much sooner.

I received my ProClip holder the other day. I ordered the adjustable iPhone holder, & the mount for my car.
I don't like any of the suction cup holders. You need an adjustable holder if your EVO has a case, so keep that in mind.
It works great, stays put, doesn't vibrate, even in landscape mode, which is what I use exclusively.
Contact crogs571, he can save you money at ProClip, as he did for me!

Don't you lose most of that vent with that? I want one as well... but in Texas I am not sure I can sacrifice my a/c. Please let me know how this affected yours cause that is the only option I have that I like for my car

Proclip mounts are car specific*, so unless you have the same car as RRM your's will probably mount differently. Go to the proclip website and see what they make for your car.

*Actually, Proclip mounts are sold in 2 parts: 1 is car specific, the other device specific, so you end up with a solution customized to your car and phone.

That covers the vent... which in Florida, is a no-no.

Any option with suction cups?!

Crogs571 resells ProClip to us, for less than it would be to get them from ProClip direct.
Yes, it covers the vent somewhat. It's 95 degrees here now, & I can't tell any difference in AC. I just aim the vent down. I've bought about 5 different adjustable windshield/vent mounts, & none have come close to this one. This one holds it rock solid, & keeps my EVO right next to my steering wheel, where it is so easy to use.

Again, go to the Proclip site and see how the mount for YOUR car works. Many do not use vent clips. I have proclips for two cars, and neither one blocks a vent.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!! Yeah, we sure have been living in an oven for the past couple of months. But look at it this way - it will NEED to use that A/C vent in order to keep both the mount, and your EVO from MELTING in out heat :o
