100,000 Moto X phones coming out of Dallas each week | Android Central

According to Dennis Woodside:

When you set up to ramp a factory you need a plan, and we have shipment targets we need to make with our carrier partners, and where we need to be right now is 100,000 units and that's where we are.

Check out the linked article by Jerry for more info. It's food for thought, at the very least. We'll likely see further increase as T-Mobile sales, Developer Edition sales, increased Motomaker availability, and the rumored price drop this winter (that is, assuming it does in fact happen) affect production requirements.

Now I just have to get myself one of these...

I sure hope that Costco receives the Verizon Moto X soon because I have just about had it with my S3.

They are shipping 100K per week ..doesnt mean they are actually selling 100k per week :D..Dont think they have sold more than few thousands ..considering the ad campaign just started yesterday..
Moto x is first generation of the new brand ..i will be suprised if they sell more than couple of million in its lifetime..

They probably aren't shooting for any more than that with the X. It's a long process to getting them back on the map. One device at a time.

Obviously everything is calculated to a slow ramp up, so the factory can take things slow, and make sure everything from assembley to customer satisfaction is up to par. From some of the complaints about customer service we have seen, granted a forum is not the whole public, but still they seem to have a few issues that need to be worked out. The decision to go with just AT&T for custom to start, I think was a smart move. I applaud Motorola for a great phone, I am loving it!!

That doesn't seem to include the ones assembled in China or any droid devices. Sounds like they're doing fairly well so far this summer.

XT1060. Through spacetime.

Keep in mind that figure is for US [and Canada??] consumption. Other nations devices are not being built in Texas so are not included in this number.

Hi RM83,

I saw the Verizon version on the Costco/ wireless advocates site as a pre order leading up to the verizon release on 8/29, then it disappeared. ?

Did u get my PM? I'm curious about the Sprint version.
