Project Treble

So back when the Oreo update was released it was reported that the Mate 8 got project Treble support.

Anyone read anything about whether or not Huawei was going to be doing anything with this?

With their current situation they might be a little salty with the US and not pursue it further.

Seems like a waste to add support for better updates straight from Google and never implement it.

I've been getting monthly security updates much faster than in 2017 since the Oreo update. I bet that Treble support helps with that.
