I ordered through the Best Buy site for my Sprint Note 10 plus. I was able to get the Samsung promo for $150 credit. My notice says I will get this gift in six to eight weeks, however wouldn't this just be an electronic credit that shows up on Samsung Shop app?

That would come in rather handy

Correct. 6-8 weeks from when you order the gift. You should have some kind of register or code to apply the value to your new device. I forget how it works since I skipped the Note9.

Anyone know if there's a cutoff or restriction on what we can use these credits on? I'm kind of hoping I can hold out until the Watch Active 2 is released, so I can put it towards that. Otherwise, I guess I'll be getting more chargers, again.

There will be restrictions but should be able to use on watch active 2 since they let you use for Galaxy active or other wearables. But you never know since active 2 is new. We will know once pre orders open in early September.

I wish we could just apply the credits to samsung pay to be able to use in a larger variety of settings like gift cards etc.

I ordered mine thru samsung.com. I also signed up to be notified when it was available to preorder and received an additional $50. When I ordered the phone I was able to select my items directly. I got galaxy buds and the galaxy sport and it only cost me $20. The other $200 in promo credits and discounts. The buds shipped the same time as my phone (ordered 8-22 @ 11:30 PM should arrive on 8-27) and the galaxy sport watch is suppose to ship on 9-10.

I did - it is limited though to samsung.com purchases. That's ok it would just be nice to be able to use it towards, say a restaurant gift card or something.
