I rooted my phone using EasyRoot yet when I try to run apps that need root access it says its not rooted. It wont let me unroot it either. I want to try to apply the factory sbf file using RSDLite but don't know where to get the file or what one I need. I have an original Motorola Droid running 2.2.1. I found these 2 links but don't know the difference between the 2.

2.2 (FRG01B)
VZW_A855_FRG01B_QSC6085BP_C_01.43.01P_SW_UPDATE.sbf

and

2.2 (FRG22D)
VZW_A855_FRG22D_QSC6085BP_C_01.4..sbf

If I can just get my stupid phone to be recognized by programs such as the Android SDK (mainly Dalvik Debug Monitor) then I would leave it as is. I'm not sure if this will even fix that!

FRG01B was the original Froyo update. It was later replaced by FRG22D which is the final Froyo update that includes a security patch.

I was able to download FRG01B using ROM Manager but the installation failed because of some signature etc. How do I get FRG22D?

I guess I can just click my own link! The first one was dead so I guess I assumed the second one was too. Is there a way to verify this is the real deal before I install it?
