Pros and Cons of Wifi Only vs LTE Version with Unlimited Data

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 with unlimited data on Verizon. Originally, I was going to get the LTE version of the Note 10.1 - 2014 whenever it comes. However, I am starting to think a better option would be to get the Wifi version for the following reasons,

1) The non-LTE version is cheaper
2) I do not need to pay the extra money to Verizon for another data plan
3) With the wifi+tethering I get unlimited data but I believe I can extend my unlimited plan to the tablet for $30.
Any others?

A negative would be

1) When I am away from home I would need to have my phone with me to access the Internet on the tablet. I cannot think of any reason I would not have my phone with me
Any others?

I'd get the Hotspot feature for the phone then tether the WiFi version of the tablet. If you can do with this combination then that's the way to go. If you'll be in places without your phone and will need data for the table (without WiFi) then the LTE model is the way to go.

Let us know what you decide on getting.

+1.....that's exactly what I do...

... Sent from my tablet, please excuse any typos...

Actually just root your S4 and add a tethering app for free and enjoy free hotspot features.
